HCL Straight Talk magazine celebrates women in technology

HCL Technologies' Straight Talk magazine, which showcases experience-based insights of CIOs, CTOs and other senior technology executives, has published a special edition issue focused on women in technology.

In the issue, senior women technology leaders share stories of learning and leadership, with career advice, leadership lessons and business insights from executives at P&G, the United Nations, InterContinental Hotels Group, Olin Chemicals, Philips and other leading organizations.

The magazine also features women who work at HCL: an interview with Board Member Robin Abrams and a welcome page penned by Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Executive Director & CEO, HCL Corporation Vice Chairperson.

Roshni explains that studies suggest women are underrepresented in STEM fields and HCL is working hard to close the gender gap.

“Studies show that organizations with a strong gender diversity focus perform better as compared to their peers. Not only are these organizations better equipped to handle change, but, in most instances, they are the leaders in the shift towards a truly sustainable and equitable model that can help us achieve a Planet 50-50 by 2030," writes Roshni.

Shining a spotlight on perspectives from technology executives

Straight Talk is a multi-media forum for the peer-to-peer exchange of experience-based insights among senior technology leaders. The aim is to help professionals find solutions, drive business results and advance their careers.

HCL Technologies launched Straight Talk magazine in order to shine a spotlight on perspectives that technology executives have distilled from their professional experiences on how to develop and deploy technology in order to leverage information, launch new products, meet customer needs, and otherwise drive business results.
