Working for a company with a strong sense of corporate social responsibility can certainly increase job satisfaction. Prime employer Siemens Healthineers supports its employees to take part in numerous fundraising activities. During Run4Healthineers Week 2025, its colleagues on-site in Erlangen in Germany, and virtually all over the country, laced up to run, walk, hike, and cycle in a collective effort for health, fun, and solidarity.
Living the values of Siemens Healthineers
The annual event sees colleagues step away from their desks to connect, recharge, and show what it means to live the values of Siemens Healthineers:
- Team spirit: showing up and cheering each other on
- Wellbeing: taking time for body and mind
- Unity: thousands moving with one goal
For each participation, Siemens Healthineers donated to charitable organizations in the Erlangen and Forchheim area, turning every step into a contribution for good.
Running and fundraising with purpose
One colleague who took part in the event was Elisabeth Staudinger, a member of Siemens Healthineers Managing Board.
"It’s become a meaningful tradition for me to join the Run4Healthineers in Erlangen, and this year marked my fourth time coming together at the starting line with my fellow #TeamHealthineers. What makes this event so special is that it is more than just fitness – it’s about purpose. For every participant, whether running on-site or virtually around Germany, Siemens Healthineers donates to local social and charitable organizations," said Elisabeth on LinkedIn.
"This year, the donation recipients all had a booth on site, and it was truly inspiring to meet them and hear firsthand about the incredible work they do. With more than 2,000 runners (on-site and virtual), this year’s Run4Healthineers was again a huge success. On a personal note, my training seems to be paying off as I’m in noticeably better shape than I was last year. A heartfelt thank you to all the passionate runners, the cheering supporters, and the wonderful organizing team who made this event so special," added Elisabeth.
