DXC Technology donates laptops for First Nations students

Alongside Origin Energy Foundation, DXC Technology donated 60 repurposed laptops to Tagai State Secondary School on Australia's Thursday Island to boost and support the educational journey.

This donation is part of the company's commitment to supporting Australia's First Nations peoples and businesses.

Investing in education and community activities

Through its First Nations Program and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), DXC Technology is aiming to improve societal outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by increasing employment opportunities, building partnerships with First Nations businesses and investing in education and community activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The vision of DXC Technology's First Nations Program in Australia is to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their communities in achieving self-determination and proportional representation in all areas of society.

The company believes it is of critical importance that First Nations peoples and their communities can explore their past and future, and determine how they wish to further realise their economic and cultural independence.
