Cloudera interns provide useful free career advice for students

 July 02, 2022

An internship at Cloudera goes beyond the workplace and into the wider community, where interns are encouraged to use their professional skills and experiences to make a difference.

As part of this impact, over 45 of Cloudera's global interns volunteered collectively to provide in depth answers on professional and career related questions to students globally via CareerVillage.

This is the first global intern volunteer project for Cloudera, which was hosted in partnership between the Cloudera Social Responsibility and Early Talent teams.

Cloudera Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is dedicated to supporting its employees and global community to reinforce the company's mission to make data and analytics easy and accessible, for everyone.

Leveraging real life experiences to give advice

Cloudera interns

CareerVillage, one of Cloudera's nonprofit partners, is a global online community where students can get free personalized career advice from real-life professionals.

Cloudera interns, the tech professionals of tomorrow, leveraged their real life experiences to answer pressing questions from peers about avenues into tech, securing internships and more.

Supporting under-represented youth

CareerVillage is a community where students can get free personalized career advice from real-life professionals. Its mission is to democratize access to career information and advice for underrepresented youth. The organization does this through crowdsourcing the answers to every question from every student about every career. Together, CareerVillage is building a massive open-access reference source that every online learner can access anytime, anywhere.
