During Pride Month, WSP is excited to celebrate its Pride Employee Resource Groups.

WSP asked Senior Transport Planner, Laura Brooks, what in her opinion is the most important reason to celebrate Pride.

"Celebrating Pride is important in society and the workplace because it celebrates and promotes awareness, diversity and equality as well as highlighting that despite the progress made in recent years, we still do not live in a world that is equitable, inclusive and safe for members of the LGBTQ+ community," shared Laura.

"We believe in nurturing a culture of belonging – where all feel welcomed and included. This Pride Month, we're excited to celebrate our Pride Employee Resource Groups within WSP in the UK," said WSP. "These groups are essential pillars of support at WSP, fostering supportive environments that empower LGBTQIA+ employees to be their authentic selves at work, while promoting visibility, inclusion and diversity."

Creating a diverse organization

WSP is steadfast in its commitment to building a diverse organization with an authentic and inclusive culture in which every person’s unique contribution is celebrated no matter where they are and how they describe themselves.
