Siemens Healthineers extends the term of CHRO Darleen Caron

Siemens Healthineers sees many impressive women working within ranks - especially at leadership levels.

The Supervisory Board of Siemens Healthineers has extended the terms of office of its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Darleen Caron. Darleen now holds the CHRO position through until the end of September 2027. 

Significant progress in sustainability 

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Healthineers, Ralf P. Thomas, said: “Darleen Caron has propelled Human Resources at Siemens Healthineers to a different and internationally leading level. Under her leadership, the company made significant progress in its sustainability journey as well as building the diverse talent and inclusive culture enabling our business ambitions. In the coming years, I am confident the company will reach new benchmark levels in both aspects.”

Deep expertise in human resources 

Darleen is CHRO and a Member of the Managing Board of Siemens Healthineers, and holds the position of Labor Director at Siemens Healthcare GmbH since February 2021.

Darleen is a global Human Resources executive with over 30 years of international experience in publicly traded companies across the industrial and services sectors. She has a proven track record of driving cultural, people and organizational transformation to support large scale M&A and integrations, as well as portfolio restructuring efforts. Darleen brings deep expertise in all areas of Human Resources, with a particular emphasis on building robust leadership and future talent bench strength. She has lived and worked in North America and in Europe.

Previously, Darleen was the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for LyondellBasell, a US-based multinational chemical company with US$35 billion in revenues and presence in over 100 countries. Prior to joining LyondellBasell, Darleen was Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources for SNC-Lavalin, a Canada-based global engineering solutions company with CAN$10.4 billion in revenues and presence in over 90 countries.

Pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare 

Born in 1964 in Connecticut, USA, Darleen is a dual Canadian and American citizen. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
