DXC Technology's Dandelion Program has won the Silver Award at the 2023 Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management Awards in the category of Best Learning Program that Supports and Promotes Diversity, Equity, Inclusion.

Connecting neurodiverse people with meaningful employment

DXC Technology's Dandelion Program is an award-winning program connecting neurodiverse people with meaningful employment, and helping workplaces fill IT skills gaps.

Neurodiverse people, such as those on the autism spectrum, or who have dyslexia or ADHD, often have an extraordinary capacity for visual thinking, accuracy and attention to detail. These are invaluable skills in the IT industry, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity or data analytics.

Established in 2014, the DXC Dandelion Program embraces, supports and expands the skills of neurodiverse people to help them secure long-term, fulfilling IT careers. As a result, DXC Technology customers and partners are given access to highly skilled team members with strong technical capability, to meet their IT needs.

Backed by global research and designed in collaboration with neurodiverse people, the DXC Dandelion Program provides:

  • a unique selection and recruitment process
  • work experience programs
  • organizational change programs (including workplace awareness training)
  • tailored employment programs
  • on-site holistic support frameworks

Recognizing the best organizations

The Brandon Hall Management Awards recognize the best organizations that have successfully developed and deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results. The awards have a dedicated focus on entries from corporate training, Learning, Talent, HR, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and Sales Enablement. Corporations can either enter alone or together with a helping organization (such as a vendor, solution provider, or consultant).

DXC is an inclusive employer

Diversity is reflected in DXC Technology's inclusive environment that embraces many cultures, backgrounds, values and ideas offered by its global workforce.
