Meet AECOM’s Los Angeles Metro Executive & Strategy & Growth Leader, Jill Kurth

In conversation with Construction DiveJill discusses the region’s infrastructure needs and the latest in technology, green building, and more.

Public policy and new technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), are driving resilience projects in Southern California, suggests Jill.

Embracing AI and further technology

Jill sees unique opportunities to build resilient, environmentally friendly and fair-minded infrastructure. She wants the construction industry to embrace AI and further building tech in order to decarbonize and adapt to extreme weather and other climate challenges.

"An equitable, green future requires us to work together, partner together, create pathways, and leverage technology in new and different ways,” says Jill.

Any project or partnership that improves the quality of life for all while protecting the planet, is what Jill truly thrives on.

One project that Jill is currently excited about is the new home of the LA Clippers, the Intuit Dome, which is set to open next year. "It’s one of the most technically advanced stadiums in the world, enhancing fan immersion and an advanced retail experience," claims Jill.
