Entain's commitment to continuously championing positive change has earned some great recognition.
Entain's LGBTQ+ employee resource group dedicated to celebrating and promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion, BeYou@Entain, is named Outstanding LGBTQIA Network of the Year at the Employee Network Awards.
"This incredible recognition celebrates the passion, dedication, and impact of our amazing network members and allies across Entain. A huge congratulations to our inspiring nominees who were also shortlisted across five categories," said Entain announcing the news on LinkedIn.
Entain colleagues also celebrated the prestigious recognition, including the chair of BeYou@Entain, Sam Fresa.
"I am so, so proud to head up a network that has got such fantastic people both within it and as allies. Honestly this is for the whole team who work hard all over the globe to make us feel safe at work, and thank you to Entain for giving us the platform to create change! Award winners!" said Entain People Partner & Chair of BeYou, Sam Fresa, on LInkedIn.
"Congratulations to Sam Fresa and the whole BeYou team and to our fabulous Entain colleagues who have joined and shown up as members or allies over the last couple of years. It’s because of all the support this award is possible," commented Entain Global Resourcing Leader, Andrew Porter, on LinkedIn.
"Sam Fresa, what an amazing achievement for you and the BeYou network. It’s great to see all the effort, time and support being recognised," added Senior People Partner Susanne Hunter, also on LinkedIn.
Celebrating individual differences
At Entain, employees do what’s right. It’s one of the company's core values, which is why Entain is taking the lead when it comes to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive future for its people, the wider sports betting industry, and society beyond. But none of this would be possible without its people working at their best.
To achieve that, Entain has created a culture where everyone can feel psychologically safe, included and heard, where being accepted for who you are is a given. Entain celebrates individual differences, and makes sure everyone is supported and empowered to thrive.
BeYou@Entain represents authenticity, unity, and celebration. The BeYou@Entain Employee Resource Group helps create an environment where Entain's people can be their authentic selves and feel accepted, heard, and valued for who they are.
Pushing for real change
The 2025 Employee Network Awards, headlined by Haleon, took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane, celebrating the remarkable work of Employee Resource Groups and the individuals driving diversity, equity, and inclusion across UK workplaces. Hosted by Dawn Butler MP, the evening recognised networks, leaders, and sponsors making a real difference.
"It’s inspiring to see so many networks and individuals pushing for real change. Their creativity, dedication, and leadership show that supporting employees makes workplaces stronger, fairer, and more innovative," said Employee Network Awards Founder, Linda Riley.
The Outstanding LGBTQIA Network of the Year category is described by Employee Network Awards as: "Everyone should be themselves at work as well as at home. LGBTQIA Employee Resource Groups help provide a safe and supportive community for employees, and to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company and the broader community. This award goes to the LGBTQIA Network which has achieved the most over the past year."
