“We’re honoured to see our efforts for continuous improvement across our ESG program being recognized. This is a testament to WSP’s ambitious ESG goals,” says André-Martin Bouchard, WSP Global Corporate Director, ESG.
“In 2021, for example, we pledged to achieve net zero emissions across our value chain by 2040. To support this achievement, we have set science-based GHG emission reduction targets, approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These targets aligned with the 1.5 degrees Celsius scenario of the Paris Agreement. We have a clear ESG governance in place, and we have set a number of targets for Diversity and Inclusion, and the wellbeing of our people. And with our Future Ready program, we are well positioned to advise our clients on their own transition to a low-carbon economy,” he says.
