Meet Honeywell Aerospace Director of Marketing UAM & UAS, Alison Wyrick. Here, Alison describes the job she loves and the future of flight. 

"In my 15 years of work experience I have not held a role where I've had as much fun as I'm having now," shares Alison.

 "I just see a lot of activity in investment in technology for the future so in my role in marketing I am positioned right in the middle of product, sales and customer success, and it is my job to make sure that our customers understand our product and that our sales team is equipped with what they need to sell."

Work/life balance 

Alison has two sons - a three-and-a-half-year-old and an almost two-year-old.

"Friday nights we like to go for pizza and on the weekends we like to go up north. We like to spend time outside and with our church friends. My husband also works at Honeywell, so we are a family of Honeywell Futureshapers, and we expect that tradition to continue!" she says. 

Impactful work 

"We have a state-of-the-art new lab for our UAS UAM Division and inside the lab we actually have simulators that you can fly," explains Alison. 

"I got to go and sit in a simulator and fly the eVital Sim and that is something obviously I still talk about today it's so impactful. So, I can only imagine how I'm going to feel after I take my first ride on a new eVital as a passenger and how emotional that experience is going to be, that I was a part of the team that made this real."
