And remember, “Don’t try to be the perfect professional person, instead show up as your authentic self. Diageo isn't looking for a finished product for their graduate schemes, they're looking for someone who’s passionate and willing to learn and grow,” reminds HR Graduate, Nadia Ahmed in London, UK.

“What really brings you to Diageo is your character. Everything can be learned and Diageo might have that place for you to evolve in the best way possible for you,” suggests Sales Gradute, Denise Natalie Christ in Hamburg, Germany.

“My top 3 tips for applying? 1. Do your research, but don’t over-prepare - we want to see the real you. 2. Think about your journey and the different life experiences that have shaped you as an individual 3. Try to use the STAR model when answering questions (Situation, Task, Action, Result),” says Early Careers Talent Manager, Catherine Davis in London, UK.

“Learn as much as you can about the role and industry you’re applying for. This helps you to stand out, and it shows how much preparation you've done,” advises Lucy Hulbert, Commercial Graduate in London, UK.
