The Executive Board manages Arcadis and is responsible for achieving our goals, policies and results - and a member of the Arcadis Executive Board is Chief Financial Officer, Sarah Kuijlaars FCMA.

Sarah Kuijlaars leads in a tremendously exciting role at Arcadis

Sarah is a British national, holds a master's degree in Mathematics from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA). Formerly the Chief Financial Officer of the Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace business, Sarah has held several finance leadership roles during her twenty-five year career with Royal Dutch Shell. Sarah has worked in several geographies with distinctly different cultures and has dealt with multiple stakeholders in complex business relationships. Sarah as been involved in a variety of projects during her career, is known for her strong business ethics, her focus on people development as well as her ability to identify and manage risk in complex business environments. Sarah has a strong track record of delivering change at senior levels in world-class organisations; demonstrated ability of working effectively in different cultural environments, showing strong communication skills, as a hands-on business partner in capital-intensive industries. She has also held various Director and Audit Committee Chair roles.

Arcadia Lia Belilos Diversity

Lia Belilos is Arcadis' Chief People Officer

Lia ensures the further development of ARCADIS' HR capabilities globally to support the company's growth ambitions and she leads the ARCADIS culture as one of enhanced performance and collaboration, in line with the company's strategy. She is a member of Arcadis' Executive Leadership Team.

Lia was formerly Chief HR Officer at KPN Group where she was responsible for all activities concerning human resources within KPN corporate as well as its group companies. Prior to joining KPN, Lia worked for Shell as Vice President Human Resources for the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Luxembourg. Before that, Lia spent about 10 years for Shell in Asia. Her last role there was HR Director for Shell in China, where she managed all people aspects for the Shell businesses operating in China as well as the mergers and acquisitions. Before her move to China she was based in Singapore where she supported the Chemicals and Manufacturing business of Shell as regional HR Director. Ms. Belilos holds a master's degree in Social History from the Rotterdam School of Management and a master's degree in European Studies/Civilization from the University of Reading in the UK. Lia has extensive international experience, in depth expertise across the core HR processes and strong leadership development capabilities.

Arcadia MaryAnn Hopkins

Mary Ann Hopkins is Group Executive for the Americas and for CallisonRTKL

Mary Ann joined Arcadis back in 2016 and is a member of the Arcadis Executive Board. Before joining Arcadis she was President of Federal, a primary global business unit of Parsons Corporation, where she led the government segment. Prior to that, Mary Ann was Executive Vice President for Global Business Development for Parsons Government Services.

Mary Ann's impressive career began in 1989 as a civil engineer, after which she had diverse roles in project execution, business development and general management. Mary Ann holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and completed the Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business - Advanced Management Program. She is a Registered Professional Engineer and holds a Board Director position at International Relief & Development.
