The Power Solutions Development Program for graduates recruiting now

Great people make Schneider Electric a great company and they're actively recruiting for Electrical and Computer Engineering graduates to join their Power Solutions Development Program where participants develop the skills, knowledge, abilities and relationships necessary for a career at Schneider Electric.

The program takes place at the Schneider Electric Nashville Hub which is in Franklin, Tennessee. Upon successful completion of the training program, several opportunities are available across the US based on participant interests and the company's business needs.

Three rotations prepare participants for a great career

During the program, participants get to experience three rotations.

  • Power Solution Sales - Sales Support Engineers play a high visibility role in the US sales process providing pre-sales support, both technical and commercial, to internal and external customers
     
  • Engineering Operations - Engineering Operations may include engineering, programming, and commissioning of systems typically used in the monitoring and control of electrical power distribution
     
  • Customer Technical Support - Tech Support will be answering a telephone ‘hot line’ or written inquiries from external and internal customers regarding engineered solutions and products including analyzing and resolving issues with metering applications, software, communication networks, and product applications.

Qualifications required 

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or related areas
  • must be available to relocate in the US after one year
  • applicable Internship experience desired in designing electrical control systems, PLC programming/troubleshooting, HMI configuration including graphical screen development
  • knowledge in computer networking architectures desired, as well as topologies and hardware.
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • this position is unable to provide visa support for international candidates, now or in the future
