Northrop Grumman is sponsoring the STEM in Defence Category at the Women in Defence UK Awards. The prestigious Awards celebrate and showcase exceptional women, men or teams working in defence and security.

Women in Defence UK, which manages the awards, is a network that aims to encourage women to succeed authentically, share experiences, forge networks and increase the number of women joining the defence sector.

Showcasing exceptional women in defence

The Women in Defence Award is a chance to celebrate the achievements of women working in the defence industry, to hear their stories and understand how this might apply to organisations.

By putting talent not gender first, the Award aims to help create a better Britain to demonstrate of the endless benefits of diversity to the workplace and the competitive advantage it gives organisations. With a workforce made up of people from different backgrounds, organisations will be able to get the best ideas to deliver the best solutions for customers.

Finalists are chosen because they are inspirational, bring innovative solutions and are exemplary role models for others.
