Fourteen Arcadis women nominated for prestigious award

An amazing 14 Arcadis women have been nominated as finalists for the The European Women In Construction and Engineering Awards. ​These prestigious Awards celebrate the most exemplary women within construction and engineering across Europe.  

The aim of the Awards is to make these industries more appealing to women, to create role models for women, and to encourage companies to employ and train more women in engineering and construction.

  • Best Woman Consultant: Bryony Goldsmith, Director; Jo Wraith, Principal Consultant; Kelly Alexiou, Energy Consultant
  • Best Woman in Digital Innovation: Vicky Ernst, Head of Innovation Transformation 
  • Best Woman Electrical and Mechanical Engineer: Emuesiri Okoro, Senior Mechanical Engineer
  • Best Woman Project Manager: Lois Bertie, Senior Project Manager
  • Best Woman Quantity Surveyor: Allison Burza, Business Director (Retail & Workplace); Ruth McKellar, Quantity Surveyor
  • Best Woman Rail Engineer: Emily Husband, Civil Engineer; Thusali Karunakaran, Associate Technical Director
  • Best Young Woman Engineer: Helen Aston, Civil Engineer
  • Best Young Woman in Construction: Katy Hicks, Cost Consultant 
  • Best Woman Software Engineer: Konstantina Kasioumi, Assistant Engineer
  • Best Female Mentor: Sarah Wilkes, Global Solutions Lead - Business Advisory 

Two men from Arcadis were also cited as finalists.

  • Best male mentor: Vishwas Pahariya, Technical Director
  • Best male mentor: Ross Gissane, Sector Leader - Lenders & Investors
