Diageo is among the top 25 most diverse and inclusive companies according to the Refinitiv Diversity & Inclusion Index.
Diageo has achieved excellent success, being the second most diverse and inclusive workplace in the Refinitiv Diversity & Inclusion Index (previously the Thomson Reuters Diversity & Inclusion Index). The ranking is a recognition of Diageo's ongoing commitment to championing diversity and inclusion within the business and beyond, and builds on Diageo's previous ranking in fourth place.
Proud to be climbing the diversity and inclusion ladder
“I am very proud that Diageo has once again climbed the Refinitiv Diversity & Inclusion List, and we are now ranked as the second most diverse and inclusive workplace globally. We passionately believe that championing inclusion and diversity is the right thing to do, and have made it a business priority to shape market leading policies and practices. This year we rolled out an ambitious global family leave policy that ensures all women at Diageo receive six months paid maternity leave and set a minimum standard of four weeks paid paternity leave for men, with men in many countries also benefiting from six months paid paternity leave. To be recognised for our ongoing commitment to inclusion and diversity is extremely rewarding, and we will continue to push ourselves to improve and build on our ambitions," says Mairéad Nayager, Chief Human Resources Officer, Diageo.
“Congratulations to the 2019 D&I Index Top 100 Most Diverse & Inclusive Organizations Globally. We are pleased to recognize Diageo’s #2 ranking and their demonstrated commitment to diversity and Inclusion across their organization. We are proud that our D&I index is being used as a guide to help firms across the globe create a workforce of diverse teams. We are equally proud that the D&I Index continues to serve as key driver for investors and analysts seeking to identify the companies that are getting this right and helping them to make investment decisions that align with their values and the bottom line," adds Debra Walton, Chief Revenue Officer, Refinitiv.
