Schneider Electric's equality efforts recognized by Equileap

Schneider Electric has reason to celebrate! The company is named as a top company for gender equality in Equileap's annual Global Gender Equality Report and Ranking.

The Equileap report is an in-depth, cross-sector analysis of gender equality in 3,519 companies in 23 developed economies, representing 98 million employees. Equileap is a non-profit organization that researches companies on gender equality and provides data for gender lens investing, evaluated companies on criteria including gender balance across the workforce, the gender pay gap, paid parental leave and anti-sexual harassment policies.

A firm commitment to inclusion and gender equality

Schneider Electric has been successfully ranked first in the industrial sector for gender equality and is proud to be recognized for their commitment to building an inclusive company for all diversities.

Schneider Electric CEO and Chairman Jean-Pascal Tricoire says that Schneider Electric is "firmly committed to inclusion and gender equality."

Further impressive accolades

This isn't the first time Schneider Electric has been officially recognized for its gender equality efforts. 

Schneider Electric was included in the Forbes list of America's Best Employers for Women thanks to its high ranking by female workers and was also selected India as one of the four winners of the Catalyst Award, which is given to a company that has made positive changes to its workplace culture by recruiting, developing and advancing women and diverse groups. Further recognition came in the form of inclusion in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index
