The new report from Vodafone looks at gender diversity in senior leaders.

It reveals that companies need to invest in mentorship schemes, actively encourage role models, have visible executives and have a flexible approach to working.

"I think a Vodafone we've seen tremendous benefits of the senior leadership team not being separate and distinct and being open and accessible," explains Helen Lamprell, General Counsel and External Affairs Director at Vodafone.

"My view is that we will have better businesses and a better society if we have 50/50 gender split in companies, so let's set that target and let's do it, " encourages Natasha Christie Miller, CEO & President, Ascential Intelligence in the video.
