Medtronic's Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Report shows company is achieving 99 per cent global gender pay equity

In prime employer Medtronic's first-ever Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Report, data reveals progress towards its 2020 goals, how the company is elevating women and ethnically diverse talent into leadership roles, and how its achieving 99 per cent global gender pay equity.

The report shows that Medtronic continues to make strides in building an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace. The company has achieved 100 per cent gender pay equity in several countries, including the United States, and 99 per cent global gender pay equity. In the United States, the company has also achieved 99 per cent ethnicity pay equity.

Women hold 38 per cent of global management positions — bringing Medtronic closer to its 2020 target of at least 40 per cent or more and its ultimate aspiration of 50 per cent or more globally.

In the United States, ethnically diverse talent represents 22 per cent of Medtronic's management positions, surpassing its 2020 target of at least 20 per cent.

Medtronic also has 19,000+ employees across more than 60 countries involved in employee-led affinity groups.

Medtronic joined Catalyst CEO Champions for Change in committing to accelerate inclusion, diversity, and gender equality, as well as the Human Rights Campaign Business Coalition for the Equality Act to support LGBTQ equality.
