84.51° celebrated International Women's Day by hosting an event for its associates, which included a successful women-owned business expo, fitness classes such as yoga, and other fun activities.
Businesses at the expo included Brand New Day, Brewhaus Dog Bones, Cincinnati Beer Soap and Tablespoon Cooking Company.
"What a fantastic International Women's Day event! Thank you to our women-owned businesses and all of our associates for coming together to celebrate," said 84.51°.
Collecting stamps from vendors and other IWD tasks
During the day, 84.51° associates filled IWD passports with stamps from vendors for visiting booths and completing extra tasks like wearing an IWD t-shirt or sticker. The full passports were entered in a drawing for a special prize.
Thoughts shared from Diversity and Inclusion Manager
Terron Wilson, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, shared the importance of International Women's Day and what it means to 84.51° associates. "It's a great opportunity to celebrate all the accomplishments that 84.51° women have made, women in the city of Cincinatti and nationally have made, but it's also an important day for us to recognize all the contributions that we have made, not only at 84.51° but in the city and globally."

She described the event as "very exciting" with "a lot of buzz", and highlighted how the day was a chance to talk about women and self care and show the support women must continue to do to lift each other up.
