University of Sheffield: Heidi Fraser-Krauss senior appointment

The University of Sheffield has appointed Heidi Fraser-Krauss to the position of Executive Director of Corporate Services.

A wealth of knowledge and experience

Heidi joins the University of Sheffield with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the university sector. Having completed a degree in Psychology and Management Studies at the University of Glasgow, she has worked in a variety of leadership roles throughout her career, including at the University of St Andrews, and at the University of York, where she served as Deputy Registrar and Director of Corporate and Information Services.

Heidi has been responsible for various university projects, including forming a team in charge of business change initiatives at St Andrews, the development and expansion of York's Information Strategy, overseeing York’s preparations for a No Deal Brexit and leading the initial response to Covid-19.

Outside of work Heidi holds positions of responsibility including as a member of UCAS Council.

Leading all corporate service departments

As Executive Director of Corporate Services at the University of Sheffield, Heidi will provide leadership to all corporate service departments, including Estates and Facilities Management, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, IT Services, Events, Campaigns and Alumni Relations, Health and Safety, Sport Sheffield and the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
