Amazon VP Alicia Boler Davis: A Fortune Most Powerful Women

Alicia Boler Davis, Amazon Vice President of Global Customer Fulfillment, has been named to Fortune Magazine's Most Powerful Women list.

Alicia joined Amazon in April 2019 as vice president of global customer fulfillment and is in charge of much of the vast infrastructure that makes Amazon shopping feel effortless to consumers.

She runs the company’s hundreds of warehouses worldwide, overseeing employees, logistics, and processes, as well as technology that includes shelf-stocking robots. Customer service falls under her umbrella, too - and in the pandemic, Amazon’s customers suddenly needed more service than ever before, cites an article by Fortune Magazine.

Successfully-delivered initiatives during COVID-19 crisis

Alicia's achievements at Amazon have been detailed in an article published by Fortune, showing how she earned her place on the list.

In particular, Fortune describes how Alicia was integral in the company's response to the increase in customer demand brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic

For example, Alicia's efforts to keep Amazon staff safe have been praised.
