Nottingham Trent University (NTU) organized a busy schedule of virtual events and activities to celebrate Green Week.
The University called upon its staff and students, both a campus and at home, to help create a more sustainable world.
Engaging staff and students in Green Week activities
Green Week activities included a virtual discussion with Recycling at NTU Focus Groups on improving recycling at the University and a Climate Action Summit to share ideas and network with fellow students, staff and sustainability professionals.
NTU also provided resources about its commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goals, Nottingham City's Carbon Neutral Charter, and walking trails around campus to explore the University's biodiversity.

NTU's Green Week activities align with its overall commitment to creating a sustainable and environmentally-friendly culture, which has been officially recognized by a number of awarding bodies.
The University has been awarded 57th place globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, which ranks participating universities from around the world on their success in delivering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
NTU was also awarded third place in the People & Planet University League, which ranks all 145 UK universities on their commitment to and management of sustainability, and has been named fifth most sustainable university in the world by the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking.
