Meet Schneider Electric's Becky Mangnall

Schneider Electric has a great graduate programme and national key account manager, Becky Mangnall, explains why.

WWW: What has the Schneider Electric graduate programme provided you with?

BM: The graduate programme and evolution of Schneider Electric has afforded me the opportunities to gain experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Commercial Processes, Channel Management and Sales Leadership

WWW: Why did you choose Schneider Electric and what's the best thing about working for Schneider Electric?

BM: I chose Schneider Electric as it has a very strong reputation for training, it's brilliant products and innovation, however all of this was and still is backed up by great vision and culture. There are so many great things about working at Schneider Electric, one of the best is our overall dedication to being one team and having one dream and a really strong message around the value of partnerships and empowerment.

WWW: What do you mainly do on a day-to-day basis?

BM: I am the national key account manager in the UK for Rexel and Farnell, on a day to day basis I Maintain and increase the profitable sales of Schneider Electric’s offer currently circa £45million between the Key Accounts. I develop effective working relationships at Corporate and Regional Director level to ensure we have strong relationships based on trust and partnership. I also develop and deploy a Strategic Account Plan that will deliver year on year increased % share in the Key Account turnover.

WWW: What's your biggest work achievement to date?

BM: Overall, my greatest achievement so far is my continued progression through Schneider Electric, its shows through hard work, effort and dedication you can succeed. Other achievements I rate highly have been dependent upon the roles I've been lucky enough to hold, in sales leadership it was developing others and helping them succeed and grow, in my current position my largest financial work achievement is being influential in securing the quarters sales orders for £4million and £3million.

WWW: How would you describe your best work qualities and how are these relevant to SE?

BM: My best qualities are my passion, drive and enthusiasm these ultimately drive customer satisfaction and growth for Schneider Electric

WWW: How would you describe yourself in a work sense?

BM: I'm diligent, have a high attention to detail, I am tenacious and have a desire to succeed against all odds

WWW: What exciting projects are you involved in?

BM: I currently involved in Channel transformation in the UK distribution team, this transcends the wider Schneider organisation and looks at what new opportunities/ways we have to grow our business year on year, with IOT (Internet of Things), new products introductions, greater share of our customers spend.

WWW: Anything else you wish to promote, pls feel free to give us a brief overview

BM: The graduate programme at Schneider is a huge stepping stone to greater bigger things.  If I could tell anyone looking to apply it would be this: as long as you have the desire and passion to work hard and achieve your opportunities are endless.
