WSP internships provide challenging and far-reaching career opportunities.

WSP interns explore new and inspiring opportunities to make the most of their expertise, broaden their professional horizons and help create exciting new possibilities for people, organisations, and future generations. Plus, WSP interns have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects in the UK and beyond - from redesigning London’s train stations to planning new wind farms in Scotland.

Working across disciplines

Engineering consultancy: WSP's engineering placement students work across a variety of WSP teams and disciplines. They work directly with clients to plan and design projects, alongside contractors who carry out the construction. This means consistent communication with the client, contract management, and consideration of the use of materials, environmental impacts, costs, and ease of maintenance.

Environmental consultancy: WSP's environmental placement students work alongside environmental consultants in many different roles in a variety of teams across its environmental discipline. They are involved in the planning stages of developments and carry out environmental assessments, from noise and vibration assessment to environmental management.
