As Cloudera's Chief Diversity Officer, Sarah works closely with the equality committee, the employee resource advisory board, the leadership teams, and the passionate change agents at Cloudera to advance the inclusive employee experience, provide progressive development opportunities around equality and belonging, and drive operational excellence within the organization. Sarah has more than 25 years of experience in D&I and HR leadership positions at Apple, LeapFrog, HPE, and more.
She was previously the head of diversity, inclusion, & learning at Cloudera, where she led various diversity and inclusion initiatives focused on leveling the playing field for women and underrepresented minorities.
Sarah graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor's of business administration degree in general business with an emphasis in labor and industrial relations.
Exploring intersection of AI and Cloud topics
Sruthi Mohan is a Cloudera Solutions Engineer based out of Frankfurt and supporting customers across a variety of industries through the CEMEA territory. She is especially interested in the intersection of AI and Cloud topics across a diverse set of use cases she gets to learn about via the interactions with each of her customers and how her role at Cloudera can help make these ideas and use case goals come to life.
There are so many steps and processes involved in order to bring these various use cases to fruition, and Sruthi's focus in the Data Engineering and machine learning (ML) space as the Subject Matter Expert lead in this arena ensures she has an appreciation for the challenges of data preparation as well as all that ML can accomplish given the right data foundation.
