WSP's Rachel Skinner named to World GBC's Board of Directors

Rachel Skinner, WSP Executive Director and President of Institution of Civil Engineers UK, has been appointed to the World Green Building Council's Board of Directors.

Rachel's expertise is helping the world to deliver on the ambitions of the Paris Agreement and UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

Rachel [picture above] brings to the role a wealth of experience, expertise and dedication to catalysing sustainable buildings for everyone, everywhere.

Rachel joined WSP as a graduate has since progressed through numerous acquisitions. Rachel is renowned for her expertise in transport planning and remains instrumental in shaping future mobility strategy in the UK and beyond, having also played a key role in delivering the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic route networks and the early stages of major schemes including the Lower Thames Crossing earlier in her career.

Transforming the built environment 

World Green Building Council's Board members were nominated by member Green Building Councils (GBCs) from around the world. Rachel was nominated by Chile Green Building Council.
