HCL is propelling LGBTQ equality to the next level.
The company is proud to join over 5,000 LGBTQ leaders at the Out & Equal Workplace Summit - the largest LGBTQ conference in the world, with more than 5,000 attendees every year. It brings together executives, ERG leaders and members, and HR and DEI professionals and experts – all working for LGBTQ equality.
Forging a human centered approach for the Future of Work
An official Partner of the Out & Equal Workplace Summit, HCL has a congruent focus on the Future of Work. One of the workshop sessions covers: Centering LGBTIQ+ people for a human centered approach for the Future of Work. The future of work has focused much-needed attention on how best to prepare for the changing nature of the workforce and the workplace - with panellists exploring what challenges the future of work will bring for LGBTQ+ people and workers, and how they can be addressed.

Advocating for inclusive workplaces
Over more than 20 years, the Summit has grown to become the preferred place to network and share strategies that create inclusive workplaces, where everyone belongs and where LGBTQ employees can be out and thrive.
Speakers at the Out & Equal Workplace Summit include prominent LGBTQ celebrities, artists, activists and thought-leaders such as Laverne Cox, Roxane Gay, Andy Bell, and Briana Scurry.
Out & Equal is the global convener, thought leader and catalyst actively working to achieve workplaces of equality and belonging - supporting LGBTQ+ employees and leaders who thrive in their careers and lives and achieve greater impact on the world.
Their vision is to see global workplaces where all people are equal, belong, and thrive.
"Feeling confident at work is a tell-tale sign that your workplace is fostering a culture of belonging. Bravely showing up as your authentic self is key to this equation," says Out & Equal. "Hold yourself, your colleagues, your leaders, and your companies accountable during challenging times. Accountability is the first step towards creating an equal and just workplace of belonging."
Supporting its LGBTQ workforce
As well as advocating for LGBTQ people in the wider community, HCL consistently supports its own LGBTQ employees.
For example, the company has its own Pride@HCL Network where the group shares unique insights from LGBTQIA+ inclusion, helping contribute to an inclusive workplace that welcomes and values differences.
