Najwa Jawahar, an Associate at WSP, is speaking at the UK's leading construction and design show, London Build. Najwa will be a panellist on the session: 'Improving the Image of Construction - Challenging Stereotypes.'

Making a contribution to the community
Najwa is an award-winning Chartered Structural Engineer at WSP who believes nothing is impossible and who wants to leave her mark on the cities around the world by working engineering challenges at all scales.
She wants to make a true contribution to the community around her as an engineer, as a mentor and as a role model. Her desire to fulfil her dreams is evident from her impressive track record of achievements.
No challenges daunt her but only excite to develop and learn more.
Najwa has initiated a graduate group and extended it to 300+ young engineers and apprentices globally in 2 years and delivered two business initiatives as WSP’s Taskforce Team.
A series of impressive awards and recognitions
Najwa was named as the Best Young Woman Engineer at the European Women in Construction and Engineering; a STEM Leader at the Forward Ladies North West, Wales and Ireland Award; a Top 50 Rising Star in Science and Engineering; Highly Commended as an emerging professional at ACE awards; and Recognised in Top 12 Rising Stars at the Construction News Awards 2018.
In 2019, Najwa was named as the Northern Power Women's Rising Star.
