Eaton is celebrated as one of America's Most Loved Workplaces

 October 24, 2021

Eaton is named to Newsweek's list of America's Most Loved Workplaces, a collection of 100 small, medium and large companies who win the hearts of their employees.

"There are no words for how deeply appreciative we are for this honor - and our people," said Eaton in response to the news.

Employee-led rankings

Companies on the list are successful in meeting certain criteria such as collaboration and teamwork, opportunities for advancement, good citizenship, strong leadership, and a focus on diversity and inclusion.

"A Most Loved Workplace is focused squarely on the degree to which employees have a positive feeling about their employer," said Louis Carter, CEO of the Best Practice Institute, a leadership development center and think tank that developed the research underpinning the rankings in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh.

A community-focused employer

Eaton was particularly recognized for being community focused and socially aware.

Newsweek also celebrated one of Eaton's key workplace benefits: employees get paid time to volunteer in their neighborhoods.
