Medtronic joins Disability: IN’s list of leading companies

 December 08, 2021

Medtronic has joined Disability:IN's list of 200 companies that are working to create disability related inclusion and equality.

As a progressive employer, Medtronic believes that when people from different cultures, genders, and points of view come together, innovation is the result and everyone wins. This ethos aligns with the Disability:IN's vision, which aims to create an inclusive economy where people with disabilities participate both fully and meaningfully.

Resources to achieve inclusivity goals

Disability:IN empowers leading companies to achieve disability inclusion and equality, giving partners access to best-in-class programming to help them diversify their business.

One way in which Medtronic looks to foster its inclusive environment is through its Diversity Networks and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which includes a Disabilities Resource Group. The ERGs are built on shared interests and affinities that create a fabric of support to retain, develop, and engage employees locally. ERGs focus on professional development and community building at a grassroots level.
