Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail and Canada's Top 100 Employers has selected Schneider Electric Canada as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers (2022) and Greater Toronto's Top Employers (2022), which recognize the most progressive companies when it comes to human resources policies.
Offering exceptional workplaces for employees
The Canada’s Top 100 Employers project is a national competition to determine which employers lead their industries by offering exceptional workplaces for their employees.
Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers using eight criteria, which have remained consistent since the project’s inception. These are Physical Workplace; Work Atmosphere & Social; Health, Financial & Family Benefits; Vacation & Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training & Skills Development; and Community Involvement.
Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
Supporting employee wellbeing and development

Here are some of the reasons why Schneider Electric Canada was selected as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers and Greater Toronto's Top Employers:
- Schneider Electric Canada introduced a number of programs to support the physical and mental health of employees, from weekly virtual learning sessions and live talks, weekly well-being tips and a well-being diagnosis tool, to additional support through the employee assistance program. It also introduced a furniture program that made 800 deliveries to employees working from home, shipping out sit-stand desks, ergonomic chairs and computer monitor arms for home offices
- Schneider Electric Canada encourages employees to prioritize their health and wellness, offering resources on a number of subjects including recognizing stress and burnout, nutrition, the power of sleep, how appreciation creates value, and well-being in a digital age. The company also engages 200 Well-being Champions, global employee volunteers who help carry out initiatives locally
- Along with apprenticeships, mentoring and numerous in-house and online training programs, Schneider Electric Canada supports ongoing employee development with generous tuition subsidies for courses related and not directly related to their current position, with no set lifetime maximum
