WSP sees its Technical Director for Highways, Kate Attwood, appointed as Chair for the Association for Engineering and Consultancy (ACE) board in Wales for 2022.
Passionate about empowering employees
Between local authorities, the trunk road agencies and Welsh Government, Kate has worked with teams who have been able to develop high class infrastructure for the country, including highways, schools, hospitals, buildings and waste facilities
Kate has a mission to leave a legacy through the projects she works on, with another of her passions as part of the leadership team in Wales being to empower employees to deliver projects that are sustainable and add social value to Wales.

Kate's Regional Director nominated her for the WSP Award for ‘Empowering Culture and Holding Ourselves Accountable' in 2019 - an accolade she won - for her contribution to developing leadership skills.
