Associate Product Manager Program

Under the Technical umbrella, Associate Product Managers (APM) play a critical role in building the next generation of LinkedIn’s products. Through strong cross-functional team leadership and deep technical knowledge, graduates are at the center of enriching the professional experience of LinkedIn users and professionals around the world. The LinkedIn APM program is a small, selective program that develops entry-level talent into world-class product managers. From day one, LinkedIn APMs take ownership of large and impactful projects, while still receiving mentorship and guidance from some of the best product leaders and entrepreneurs in the industry.

As an APM at LinkedIn, graduates define the product roadmap, and they get to partner with a team of engineers, designers, product marketers, and others to launch it. APM's interact frequently with company leadership - presenting product reviews to the executive team, gathering advice in weekly learning sessions, and more. In addition, APMs expand their professional and cultural horizons through organized events with renowned entrepreneurs and leaders in Silicon Valley, and through the annual APM international trip. The APM program is defined by learning, community, ownership, and opportunity. APM's come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and have a diverse set of interests.

Business Leadership Program

LinkedIn’s Business Leadership Program (BLP) is designed to help develop the skills and confidence to tackle difficult challenges faced along a career path. The 18-month journey in the BLP comprises four rotations. In the first of four rotations, graduates learn the business from the inside out. While supporting other members and clients, graduates go in-depth to master business problem-solving and communication styles. Then, they rotate through three additional roles, gaining diverse skills and work experience that will hone skill sets, no matter what future path they choose. There are many pathways to success. The three remaining rotations follow one of four unique pathways. Each new role equips with distinct skills to add to a business toolkit. When applying, applicants are considered for all four pathways. These are SaaS Sales, Non-Quota, Media Sales, and Sales Analytics.

Strategy, Operations and Analytics Rotational Program

As part of its Business arm, LinkedIn’s Strategy, Operations, and Analytics Rotational Program (SOAR) is a highly selective two-year program comprised of four six-month rotations in LinkedIn’s Business Operations (BizOps) team. BizOps partners with leaders across the company to drive impact for both Consumer and Enterprise teams, as well as a wide variety of functions, like Product, Sales, and Marketing. The program provides analytical entry level talent with rigorous, high impact, and high visibility roles to accelerate their personal and professional development. It also provides a unique opportunity for analysts to build foundational business knowledge including financial modeling, SQL, strategic framing & analysis, opportunity identification and decision support. Throughout time as a rotation analyst, participants learn, are stretched, and grow at an incredible pace. In addition to hands-on experience during each rotation, formal comprehensive training programs teach the diverse skill set needed to develop into a data-driven and strategic business leader.

The SOAR Program is LinkedIn’s entry-level strategy program. SOAR is a highly sought after landing spot for individuals looking to work as business leaders in technology, but places greater emphasis on the executive toolkit: demystifying ambiguity, taking intelligent risks, hunting for opportunity and nurturing a business. SOAR analysts are staffed to high priority initiatives across the business organization, providing an opportunity for visibility, rapid learning and the chance to make a material impact early in their careers. Analysts emerge from SOAR with an arsenal of core business skills, practical tools, and mental frameworks to apply to their next role at LinkedIn or beyond. The program provides an ideal platform for someone interested in a career in consumer & enterprise technology and services, strategy, M&A, venture capital or startups.
