Meet Teuila Hanson, LinkedIn Senior VP & Chief People Officer

Teuila Hanson is the Chief People Officer at LinkedIn. In her role she leads the team responsible for hiring, developing and growing top talent, including all benefits, employee experience and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging programs.
Prior to joining LinkedIn, Teuila was the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and People Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this role, she led the strategy and people teams and served as chair of the bank’s management committee, creating an engaging workplace by driving bank strategy and integrating best practices in talent management, inclusion and diversity, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and corporate culture. Teuila also held various leadership roles at AECOM Technology Corporation, a global professional services organization.
Teuila earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sonoma State University, and her juris doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law. She is a licensed member of the California Bar.
Meet Melissa Selcher, LinkedIn Senior VP & Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Melissa Selcher is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMMO) at LinkedIn. She leads the team responsible for all the company’s marketing, communications, and global social impact work.
Melissa moved into the CMCO role after serving as Vice President of Brand Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Social Impact at LinkedIn, where she oversaw the evolution of the company’s global brand, which resulted in the world's largest brand equity database, BrandZ, naming LinkedIn one of the ten fastest growing brands in the world in 2019 and, again, in 2020.
Prior to LinkedIn, Mel was the Chief Communications Officer at Cisco, overseeing all communications and investor relations globally. Earlier in her career, she held technology marketing and communications roles at Sun Microsystems, Matrix Semiconductor (acquired by SanDisk), Continental Airlines, and Trilogy Development Group.
Mel earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Princeton University. She has been awarded Outstanding Marketer of the Year by PRWeek (2020), recognized as one of AdAge’s Women to Watch (2019) and named among PR News' Top Women in Public Relations (2017).
She also serves as a Trustee of the Page Society and the Ad Council, sits on the Board of Directors of LifeMoves (the leading provider of homeless services in Silicon Valley), and advises non-profits and startups including One Love, Pensando, Athlete’s Voices, and others. Mel lives in Burlingame, California with her husband and two children.
