Bringing awareness to the benefits of ERGs

LinkedIn’s LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group (ERG) Out@In is also working toward bringing awareness to the benefits of ERGs on LinkedIn's platform during Pride Month. With over 1,000 members worldwide Out@In creates a safe environment for LGBTQ+ employees to find support and community in the workplace.

LinkedIn understands that both allies and ERGs can play an important role in continuously creating an inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ professionals. 

Showing solidarity for transgender and non-binary coworkers

LinkedIn explains that an easy way to show support for transgender and non-binary coworkers could be adding pronouns to your LinkedIn Profile. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  • Click View Profile.
  • Click the Edit icon in the introduction section.
  • Select or enter your pronouns in the Pronouns field.
  • Click Save.
