"I started working for AECOM in 2012, and since then, I have been involved in major stadia, leisure and commercial designs all over the world. As a newly qualified architect currently contributing to residential and leisure developments, my experience grows with every new challenge."
"From conceptual designs through construction, I have had the opportunity to design in collaboration with influential architects on high-profile projects. Working on large stadia projects as a graduate helped me develop my skills in a multidisciplinary environment, leading to expanded responsibilities and increasingly interesting opportunities.
"As a champion of building information modeling (BIM) in the leisure and commercial studio, I have been involved in the BIM learning and development process, helping expand the use of this flexible and intuitive tool. Delivering a stadium project in a BIM environment is both challenging and exciting, consulting with our in-house experts and external consultants in the field.
"As a multidisciplinary practice, AECOM has given me the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled professionals who have helped me develop as a professional architect. Collaborating with my peers and mentors has also taught me much about the values AECOM employees adhere to, such as collaboration to find the best solutions, operating ethically and with integrity, anticipating challenges and championing diversity.
"The most interesting project I have been involved with thus far has been a 40,000-seat stadium in the Middle East. It was delivered in BIM — taking traditional functions practiced architecturally and translating them into an intelligent platform. This is a significant move for our studio, and I see it growing for the overall studio as well as for AECOM in the United Kingdom as we work to anticipate the needs of our clients, and respond to what they imagine."
