Amazon has a top graduate programme in retail

 May 18, 2017

Amazon has been named the most popular graduate recruiter in retail for 2017 at the National Graduate Recruitment Awards.

In the UK, Amazon has hundreds of graduates in the Head Offices in London as well as across its UK Development Centres in Cambridge, Edinburgh and London, in fulfilment centres around the country and in customer service centres. Graduates work in a range of areas including e-commerce, finance, creative production, software development, operations, logistics, and customer service.

Amazon strives to hire the brightest minds from the best universities globally, and various career opportunities are available for undergraduates and advanced degree students with diverse academic backgrounds. By offering limitless progression opportunities with the chance to own your own development based on your achievements - graduates will have the opportunity to make a real business impact through analysing data, influencing others, and working in teams.

Simone Koopmans, Finance Graduate on the Graduate Scheme at Amazon says:

“One of the best things about Amazon is the level of responsibility that you enjoy early in your career. As soon as you join as a graduate you realise you will be treated no different to any other employee and you quickly learn to manage your own projects and workload, receiving the recognition that comes with this.”

“It’s a very social and innovative company to work at where you are encouraged to try and make a difference. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my career at the company.”
