In recognition of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), Diageo is inviting female students with an interest in STEM careers to an inspiring event held in conjunction with Moray Skills Pathway.
With a tour of a Scottish Diageo distillery, a bio energy plant and a maturation plant, students will be given a real insight into the engineering roles available with its drinks supply division based in Scotland.
A wide range of career pathways available
Companies like Diageo are working hard to broaden understanding of the variety of jobs available in the industry and the local community. By encouraging female students to recognise the careers and pathways available to them, they hope to increase the number of women working in engineering. With over 120,000 people work in the engineering industry in Scotland, but only 22% of those being women - there is still a long way to go.
Flourish through a thriving career
Diageo is a place where the careers of talented women can really flourish.
