Doing good certainly feels good.

At John Deere, employees are actively doing good by supporting initiatives that transform local communities for the better.

Supporting local food banks in Germany

During John Deere's Days of Caring campaign, more than 450 employees took time out of their workday to support local food banks.

The initiative aligned with John Deere's commitment to supporting food and nutrition at every stage - from empowering farmers to partnering with local food banks to ensure those in need have access to nutritious food.

Packing bags with food and hygiene products

In shifts of 1.5 to 2.5 hours, John Deere helpers in Germany's Stadtlohn, Kaiserslautern, Zweibruecken, Mannheim, Bruchsal, and Walldorf packed 10,000 bags with food and hygiene products.

Each bag was filled with intentionally durable products such as UHT milk, pasta, and muesli bar, as well as soap and toothbrushes.

It was the eighth time Days of Caring took place in Germany. The initiative was made possible by a generous donation from the John Deere Foundation and supported by the non-profit organizations PHINEO gAG and United Way.

In addition to John Deere's Days of Caring in Germany, the campaign is also held at John Deere locations in Spain, Poland, and France.

Lifting people out of poverty and crisis

When they see people struggling, John Deere employees don’t sit idle; they stand with them. Employees support people to lift themselves out of poverty and crisis into self-sufficiency and security.

During times of global conflict, natural disasters, or community crisis - when access to nutrition and housing is impacted - the John Deere Foundation is proud to support organizations around the globe to keep putting food on the table and providing shelter for those affected.

Helping employees give back to communities

John Deere makes sure employees have the time and resources they need to give back to their communities because the company knows making a difference starts at home.
