Beam Suntory's Together for Good sees impactful volunteering

Working for a company that consistently gives back to its communities can be very rewarding.

One of Beam Suntory's flagship moments every year sees employees volunteer as a global team through its annual service event, Together for Good, giving back to communities and helping to care for the environment.

Encouraging employees to volunteer

A month-long community service event, Together for Good supports Beam Suntory's goal of donating 1 million employee volunteer hours to communities around the world by 2030. Together for Good encourages all employees to participate in a wide range of volunteer activities.

In 2023, Beam Suntory's teams donated more than 6,500 volunteer hours with more than 2,000 employees participating across four continents, 12 countries and 60 volunteer events.

Planting trees to support a thriving ecosystem

Beam Suntory employees planted nearly 10,000 trees and removed invasive species, helping to contribute to cleaner groundwater, healthier soil, and the biodiversity that supports a thriving ecosystem.

Global teams also collected over 5,000 pounds of trash and debris from parks, shorelines and waterways, restoring our watersheds and supporting our communities.

Furthermore, these dedicated volunteers packed over 8,000 meals and hygiene kits to distribute to local communities in need.

Supporting 43 non-profit organizations

These efforts saw Beam Suntory support 43 non-profit organizations, including local food banks and shelters.

Further efforts to help people and the planet

Giving back is central to Beam Suntory and woven into its company values of Growing for Good and Giving Back to Society. It’s also embedded in Beam Suntory's long-term sustainability strategy, Proof Positive, which represents over a $1 billion commitment to making a positive impact on nature, consumers and communities.

Beam Suntory continues to partner with its Employee Impact Groups to drive important conversations across the business as well as host learning sessions and events globally. The company also provides eligible employees three paid days each year that may be used to give back in their communities or engage in social activism.
