AECOM's Graduate Programme UK & Ireland (Energy)

From pumped storage hydroelectricity to wind farms and nuclear energy, AECOM's graduates are helping the company lead the way in the renewable and alternative energy technologies that will help AECOM to decarbonise.

Graduates are consistently involved in a wide variety of energy projects across the UK and Ireland, including working on Sellafield Pile 1, a nuclear site in Cumberland on the north-west coast of England. Graduates have assisted with ensuring crane and scaffolding are in place in preparation for the removal of the filter galleries.

AECOM graduates have also helped with the EPS3 South and West elevations, showing temporary construction openings and protective deck over site services.

Graduates have also assisted with the Blacklaw Windfarm in Lanarkshire, Scotland, as well as the North South Interconnector 400kV overhead line, with the aim of connecting the electricity grids of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
