Formula student roars ahead with GKN

GKN took Formula Student to audiences around the world for the second year with its live-stream of the event.

GKN broadcast the action from the event live across four days on the GKN Formula Student website and the GKN YouTube channel. 15,000 people watched over 2,500 hours of footage.

The event also resulted in increased engagement across the Group’s social media accounts where they reached over one million people.

A huge success

GKN’s stand at the event was also a huge success, attracting hundreds of visitors and enabling students to learn more about GKN and engage with the company in an informal setting.

Students chatted about their experience

Students were able to attend a series of expert ‘Ted Talks’ from GKN engineers or just relax, grab a drink and play a virtual reality game. There were over 40 colleagues across the business who volunteered at the event. GKN graduates were on the stand for the students to chat to about their experiences.

GKN has been a supporter of Formula Student since 1997 and is an official partner of Formula Student. Over 120 Formula Student teams around the world have already received their free driveshaft kits from GKN.

Proud to be part of the GKN team
