Diageo is an inclusive employer that champions a diverse and vibrant workplace.

Diageo celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a number of impactful activities. For example, the company proudly sponsored L’Attitude, formed new partnerships, and its Hispanic Business Resource group Conectados held thoughtful panel discussions and hosted happy hours to engage and educate employees.

"As we reflect, let’s take a look back at some of the work we are doing within the Hispanic community," said Diageo.

Celebrating Latin culture

Diageo celebrates Latin culture through its brands, the communities it serves, and the talent it recruits and retains. It promotes sustainable growth through programs that provide equitable access to resources and education.

Diageo also trains underserved communities in businesses and hospitality skills through its Learning Skills for Life Program.

"We empower our community to make informed choices about alcohol through responsible drinking campaigns," said Diageo.

Addressing alcohol-related harm in the U.S.

Diageo also partners with Latino organizations to address alcohol-related harm in the U.S. through its Multicultural Consortium for Responsible Drinking. It supports diversity through its brands and supporting the Latino community. It continues to progress inclusion and diversity within the organization.

Diageo also held a number of industry events marking Hispanic Heritage Month, such as a Sustainability in the Supply Chain event and Diageo career opportunities webinars, as well a Cocktails & Conversation drink showcase that saw three Diageo women speak:

  • Diageo Senior Vice President for Tequila, Gin & Breakout Growth Brands for North America, Christina Choi
  • Diageo Head of Community Engagement and Partnerships for North America, Danielle Robinson PhD
  • Alcohol in Society Director of Diageo North America, Anna Fitzgibbons
