Colleagues from Diageo's employee resource groups The Rainbow Network, REACH, and Spirited Women, explain how these communities provide a safe space and strong sense of belonging.

Supporting LGBTQIA employees to bring their whole selves to work

Rebecca Emery is a member of Diageo's Rainbow Network explains: "The Rainbow Network supports LGBTQIA employees within Diageo. We feed into business policy that affects that group of employees in particular."

"I'm proud to work at Diageo because I think we really are a business where people can bring their whole selves to work."

Personal and professional development for multi-cultural employees

Tali Olubor is one of the co-leads for Diageo's Race, Ethnicity and Culture Heritage (REACH) employee resource group. "I can say that I've found a community, I found a group, and I'm so happy to now be leading this group and kind of entering [the next year] with a new way of thinking and lots of new members, and just seeing people develop both personally and professionally."

Supporting and empowering female talent

"I'm a part of Spirited Women, and it's all about kind of empowering the next generation of female talent and diverse female talent within the business," shares Catrin Cameron Evans. "We're constantly pushing, we're constantly going 'well what more can we do and how can we do this in a way that is not tokenistic, and that really empowers those that we're talking about those that we're talking to."

Zoe Teyssier is also part of Diageo's Spirited Women employee resource group and says: "For me personally its about working on something that you feel passionate about and that drives change and  engagement with your colleagues, so you see a direct effect.
