Vodafone joins Disability Confident Employer Scheme

Vodafone has furthered its commitment to inclusion and diversity by becoming a member of the UK Government's Disability Confident Employer scheme.

The scheme is creating a movement of change, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people.

"We’re proud to announce that Vodafone UK is now a member of the UK Government’s Disability Confident Employer scheme. As a ‘Committed’ Employer, we will continue our journey to becoming an outstanding employer for disabled employees #Vodafone #Disability #DisabilityConfident," Vodafone tweeted.

Helping employers make the most of opportunities 

The Disability Confident scheme aims to help employers make the most of the opportunities provided by employing disabled people. It is voluntary and has been developed by employers and disabled people’s representatives.

The scheme has three levels that have been designed to support members on their Disability Confident journey. Employers must complete each level before moving on to the next.
