Where do you see yourself?

A career in engineering could take you around the world working on exciting new projects. If you know female students with a keen interest in science and maths, encourage them to learn more about AECOM and the world of engineering.

In fact, in support of Women in Engineering Day, AECOM hosted some great events to inspire and support girls interested in STEM subjects and a potential career in engineering.

Insightful events focusing on engineering

AECOM has run some brilliant events for girls interested in STEM.

They supported an "Ask An Engineer" live webinar for students that involved an open discussion and live chat  with industry panellists, followed by Twitter conversation - see #AskAnEngineer. You can see details of this past event here.

They have also run an event at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and you can read about the details of this past event here as well as see the details from a further past event at AECOM House here.

They also ran an event for girls at AECOM in Croydon - see the information here.

The events saw many girls in year 11 and 12 (16/17 years old) interested in STEM subjects participate, and they were addressed by impressive women engineers as well as engaged in great activities like a challenging and fun bridge building exercise.
