The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) seeks to ensure that everyone is treated with respect and is given equal opportunities.
To mark World Mental Health Day, the EBRD reaffirmed its commitment to proactively supporting and prioritising mental health and wellbeing at the Bank.
Providing employees with key resources encouraging mental resilience
"We continue to provide our staff with key resources to encourage mental resilience, from our mental health fitness app, to 1-2-1 coaching and counselling services, to Bank-wide employee support networks," said the EBRD.
Raising awareness of mental health issues around the world
The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.
The opportunity provides a designated focus for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.
The theme of 2022's World Mental Health Day, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, was: Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority.
