Congratulations Capgemini for earning a place in S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook for impressive sustainability efforts.

Capgemini's high Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) score places the company in the top 10 per cent of the industry's top-performers.

World's leading companies in sustainable practices

S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook features the world’s leading companies based on their sustainable business practices. The Sustainability Yearbook aims to distinguish those companies within their industries that have each demonstrated strengths in corporate sustainability.

The Sustainability Yearbook 2023 considered over 7,800 companies assessed in the 2022 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Only 708 top performing companies, including Capgemini, made it into the Yearbook

Using technology to create a sustainable future

As a responsible business, Capgemini is achieving major ESG milestones while ensuring technology creates a sustainable future.

Capgemini drives internal change across every aspect of operations, while helping clients address their own environmental challenges. The company also teams up with partners and suppliers, start-ups, policy-makers, governments and academics, to make sustainable progress together aligned to the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Committed to managing resources effectively and cutting our carbon emissions, Capgemini was one of the first companies in its sector to have its carbon reduction targets validated by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Capgemini has strengthened ambition to achieve a 90% reduction in all carbon emissions across scopes 1,2 and 3 and become a net-zero business by 2040.

Capgemini's targets have been validated as being in line with the Science Based Target initiative’s (SBTi) new Corporate Net-Zero Standard. This standard is the world’s first framework for corporate net-zero target setting and is in line with the level of reduction needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

In December 2021, Capgemini's leadership position in tackling climate change was again recognized by global environmental non-profit CDP, who positioned the company on the prestigious A list.
